Dr. Tara Levesque
Journey to South Carolina and Chiropractic Calling
Dr. Tara relocated to South Carolina in 2014 from her native Maine, accompanied by her husband and son, to fulfill her aspiration of becoming a family chiropractor. A 2020 graduate of Sherman College, she now serves as an instructor at Sherman College of Chiropractic in Boiling Springs. Dr. Tara is deeply involved in her profession, maintaining active memberships in the Palmetto State Chiropractic Association (PSCA) and the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA). Additionally, she holds a Webster Certification, enabling her to support expectant mothers during and after pregnancy.
Building Generations Family Chiropractic
Dr. Tara shares her practice space with Dr. Bill Decken, a fellow Sherman alumnus who established Family Straight Chiropractic in 1986. When Dr. Bill transitioned to semi-retirement in 2024, Dr. Tara assumed leadership of both practices, merging them into Generations Family Chiropractic. Today, she provides care to families across multiple generations, helping them enhance their well-being through consistent chiropractic adjustments.

Outside of her practice, Dr. Tara cherishes time with her loved ones and values building connections within her community. She is dedicated to educating others about health and fostering a welcoming, judgment-free space where families can explore their wellness options. Dr. Tara believes that every family’s health decisions are valid and unique, and she is committed to delivering exceptional care to her practice members. She eagerly anticipates the opportunity to meet you and support your family’s health journey.
At Generations Family Chiropractic LLC, we offer chiropractic care with a mother's touch. Dr. Tara Levesque is first and foremost a mom and understands the health of your family does not come lightly. She focuses on treating practice members with integrity, honesty, and compassion.
She is Webster Certified and has experience with pregnant moms as well as an active member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association helping little spines as old as newborns to as young as 99. Located in Spartanburg, SC, our mission is to improve the lives of as many families as possible through love, guidance and amazing chiropractic care.
